Have to admit, have been winging it this week.
Leftovers beginning of the week
Personally I have been living on lettuce and tomatoes. With sourdough bread. Or salsa and chips with a single guacamole cup.
Swiss chard and broccoli rabe (we love our greens)
DS made ground chicken sausage patties, and her ground chicken chili.
I made a meatloaf with a pound of locally raised ground beef and a pound of ethically raised ground pork. I used a meatloaf sauce from Stonewall Kitchens that was a gift. It was delicious. Filled with peppers, onions and other veg. A tad spicy, just a zing of heat. With that I used up some instant mashed potato packets. Canned corn.
Some nights DH just has peanut butter and crackers.
Some weeks, eating isn't important to me. Wish the scale would reflect that fact. LOL
Yesterday (Friday) I pulled the last of the two broccoli rabe beds as they were starting to flower. I will plant more in late August. Here is what I harvested.
