This is the prideful Mule that guards his cows on Valley Road in Peach bottom PA. He stood on his perch every day, in the same spot facing the same direction. I looked forward to seeing him each time we drove by.
We stayed at a lovely AirBNB. We were outside of our usual area, and though it was beautiful, it through us off due to the distance from our 'haunts'. But it was very restful. We didn't stay in our usual area as the prices have become unrealistic. Our favorite house to stay in would have been almost a $1000 for 4 nights. When we first starting staying there it would have been $400. So, we branched out. We stayed at an apartment attached to the owners home. It is on 23 acres. There is also a glam campsite and a treehouse available to rent on the property. Beautiful gardens, a creek, walking paths.

Three rooms plus a huge walk in 'dressing room'. Beautiful items from around the world. The host is a photographer, and her work is just stunning.
We paid 107.50 per night. No cleaning fee. Had everything we needed.

The three rental properties are all far enough away from each other (though we could see the tree house from our deck) that privacy is maintained. Chickens on the property are cute to watch, and their goal is to have donkeys too! I have already shared their property with other folks who go to the area and love the outdoors (daughter included) They also allow pets and where we stayed is also handicapped accessible.
We came home with lots of goodies and money. We ate out twice, once with a gift card and once to take back to the house. More on that experience in another post once it's resolved.
We also grocery shopped at a local store with prepared foods. We spent a total of $103.23 there, Our bulk food store to bring home items for the next few months, $51.85 and our favorite local meat shop, $79.87. We took the Tesla, so transportation with 4 charges was under $30.00. Last stop was our favorite NJ bagel shop to take some home, $22.00.
