Really Concerned for Those Who Need SNAP Benefits

 

My own disabled mother receives a pittance of funds on her SNAP card (23 dollars a month) yet that small amount gives her some cushioning from her very strict budget.  Of course we fill in the holes, and will continue to do so for her.  But what if someone doesn't have any family to do that?

I watched a TikTok by a local representative here in CT (surprisingly from one of the more wealthier shoreline towns) he was reminding those who have SNAP cards to use them before November 1, as he understood they were actually going to be shutting all cards down, even if they still had money on them. 

Food banks are already stretched.
