Grand Kitty Chose My Daughter in an Animal Shelter

Thought I would share his handsome face
He was 4 months old when my daughter was chosen by him
at an Animal Shelter in Denver
Now he is 4 years old.

Well traveled, visited many states

I highly recommend going to your local animal shelter/pound if you ever want a fur baby.  4 years ago his adoption fee was $100.  He was already neutered.  We received a carrier, 5 lbs of dry food, coupons for litter and other items.  He was microchipped and he had a free vet visit twice in his first year with my daughter.  She (and us too, as we were there with her) had to meet with an animal behaviorlist (sp) as he had been returned for being a biter.  We have always had cats.  We get it.  I think he might have been taken from his Mom too soon.  He has lots of chew toys.  He is a sweet boy.

Not sure all shelters are like this.  I was quite impressed with the one we visited when he picked her.

  1. So sweet. We rescued our Binx who was found roaming around at around 4 weeks old all alone. We met him when he was 12 weeks old and he was a biter too due to not being with his mother. We worked really hard to teach him not to and now at 3 we rarely have to remind him. Rescues are the best!!
