What's Been Cooking Week of April 21, 2025

 

Monday I baked off the spiral cut ham I got for .99 a pound.  That with potato salad, baked beans and broccoli.  

Tuesday All ham cut off bone.  Made split pea and ham soup.  Froze packets of ham slices for future meals. 

Wednesday Leftovers (though DH did bring home a few slices of pizza) 

Thursday deconstructed pork egg rolls.  Ground pork, Smelled off.  Was in freezer.  Used canned chicken instead with Asian spices/sauces with coleslaw mix and added Asian styled veggies.  Served with rice. 

Friday Salsa Chicken with rice from yesterday.  DH requested beef chili.  Had everything I needed.

Lunches were ham sandwiches, turkey lunch meat sandwiches with tomato slices.  Leftovers and salad odds and ends.
