Thrive Market Grass Fed Beef Thoughts (referral Link)

I have always wondered about these grass Fed online purchased meats.  I did purchase 200# of beef roasts from a company that no longer exists (sort of like Azure, but a bit shady....and they went kaput with no warning and lots of our monies....I actually cannot remember their name)    The beef roasts however, were the best we have ever had.

Now that prices across the board are so high, I decided to give Thrive Markets Grass Fed Beef another look.  It is the same price as the wholesale warehouse prices, sometimes even better.  So I ordered (2) Grass Fed organic boneless beef chuck roasts 32 ounces each and 4 pounds of Grass Fed organic beef flank steak.

They arrived fully frozen.   The color of the meat looked good.  The roasts were a good size.  It made me realize that 16 oz of flank steak really is small.  Once cooked it may be a tight to come up with five 3 ounce portions.

Thrive market is an online store that carries many gluten free, organic, grassfed products.   They offer these products at a lower price than brick and mortar stores.  It's membership based, think co-op.  I pay for membership in full, which is $59.95 a year.    If you choose to do month to month each month is $12.95.  They do have a risk free cancellation fee.  You also get a generous gift at your first order.  Some items also earn you 'thrive cash' that is a credit in your account towards your next order.

If you want to give it a try, here is a link that will get you an additional 40% off your first order if you go through my link.

Ended up defrosting two flank steaks.  They were larger than I realized.  Marinated overnight with worstershire sauce and Montreal steak seasoning.  DH broiled them.  It was delicious.  We got two dinners and several more lunches.  I highly recommend.
