December Grocery Totals

 

Dec 2nd Aldi 80.88        brown and powdered sugars, specialty crackers, tortilla chips, Hershey kisses, Benton mug toppers, Caesar salad, genoa salami, fresh salsa, extra sharp and smoked cheddar cheeses, almond milk, 2 cans whipped cream, 2 cans apple pie filling, 2 bottles apple juice, 1 bottle OJ, pannetone, lemon curd, peppermint pretzels, pepperoni and Italian salame

Dec 8th Produce Market $214.55        2 loaves ciabatta, 1 loaf cicola bread, 1 loaf sourdough, 1 loaf rye. 2 bunches of Rabe, 1/2 tray lasagna, dozen meatballs, 2 stuffed peppers, sausage and peppers, 2 quarts sauce, 2 donuts, quart minestrone soup, pint pastine chicken soup, pint Hungarian mushroom soup, large lemon chocolate pie, 2 stuffed breads, eggplant tomato basil mooz salad, chicken sausage roasted veggies.  This was a combination double birthday celebration and weekly shop. 

December 10th Aldi $66.47  OJ,  Apple Juice, Horseradish cheese spread, spinach veggie dip, dill veggie dip, steamable frozen broccoli stir fry, 2.87 lb pork tenderloin, 6 count mini avocados,  12 oz shredded iceberg, chopped salad southwest kit, parsley, celery, Caesar chopped salad, 2 tortilla chips, tortilla strips, Ritz crackers, saltines.  

December 11, $38  BJ's bottled water

December 17th Aldi $88.13  Extra sharp cheddar, pepperoni, sourdough round loaf, orange juice, stuffed olives, artichoke quarters, butter, Gouda, fresh mozz, smoked cheddar, 2 dozen eggs, antipasto, speck Italiano, hard salami, prosciutto (x2) mini marshmallows, regular marshmallows, kisses, cheddar crisps and entertainment crackers assortment.  

December 17th BJ's $98.20 Thomas' English muffins, marinated mushrooms, 5 lb pierogi's, Jimmy dean Turkey sausage, Jimmy dean sausage roll, martins bread, assorted salamis, jone's breakfast sausage, prosciutto and provolone peppers.  

December 23, Costco $282.63      Large Caesar Salad, Shrimp tempura taco kit, Shrimp platter, apple juice, croissants, chicken salad, shrimp cocktail, baguettes, dinner rolls, canyon bread, pho bowls, mushrooms, pistachios, cocktail sauce, tonkotsu pho, cheesecake, rays BBQ sauce, shrimp salad, butter buffalo sauce, burnt ends, artisan rolls.  Obviously, Holiday purchases.  I normally don't include such things in regular grocery totals, but so much was prepared food to make my life easier I will this year. 

December 30 Aldi $62.75   three pounds broccoli, pepperoni, apple juice, orange juice, fresh salsa, ham quarter, prosciutto, ground pork, Caesar salad kit, mushrooms, chopped southwest salad kit, sweet kale salad kit, sunflower chop salad kit and Asian chopped salad kit. 

December 30 BJ's $75.43   3 cases water, oatmilk, almond milk, 3 lbs bacon, 6 gallons water, apple juice, 3 lbs of grapes.  

$1007.04 WOW, that is a hell of a lot of money for me.  I think I need to spend more time (between all the appointments and paperwork and trying to run the business and housework) food prepping again.  We cannot afford this)
