ReplyDeleteFor once I wish we had a Stop & Shop here. No grocery store is running a "Spend $XX Get a Free/Reduced Cost Turkey" or just a low price on turkey here. Come to think of it, no store here ran a special for the other 2 Thanksgivings we spent here either. Hmmm?
ReplyDeleteA whole Turkey is too much for just the two of us so we like to just get a breast. Ibotta had been running a deal when you bought XX amount you unlocked a deal on a turkey for the last few years but they aren't this year(unless you are a new user or have SNAP.) I guess I'll just check if Aldi had something. At least we have an Aldi. 8-)
I know Stop and Shop is having technical difficulties with online and other business factors. I couldn't add the turkey to a pickup order, so I went into the store. Walmart I noticed had some turkey's priced at .79 cents a pound when searching online. Perhaps do that? Roast, freeze some for later?
