Shrimp and Corn Chowder, great way to use up leftover corn on the cob

 We are a chowder and soup family.  I used the last of cooked corn on the cob to make a shrimp and corn chowder.  

I barely softened celery and onion in butter/olive oil.  Large cuts of celery.   Added sweet red pepper dice and the corn off of 5 cobs.  Diced potatoes, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese and one pound of jumbo shrimp (each one cut into 3 pieces).  Milk and pepper.  Let it simmer for 30 minutes.  



So good.  Small cup is very filling.
