What's Been Cooking First Full Week of June

 Sunday was chili with 1 and 1/3 lb of ground turkey, 1 box of beef stock, onion, peppers, tomato paste, spices and kidney beans.  Served over rice with sour cream.  Enough for 4 meals for dinner, 2 take away meals for Uncle, dinner for DH on Monday. 

Monday Roasted Fresh local chicken with swiss chard (farm share) white and sweet potatoes with more baked for later in week. 

Tuesday Soup that I made from yesterday's carcass and veggies.  Peas, carrots, onion, celery.  Stock was nice and dark.  Also whole wheat bread I baked on Monday. 



Wed Leftovers with Sourdough bread I made. 


Thurs London Broil with the leftover potatoes from earlier in the week turned into fried potatoes 


Fri Very late work day for both of us.  Sandwiches

  2. We've got hot weather so trying to plan cook once eat twice meals. I just made breakfast burritos for today and easy breakfast for my husband and daughter tomorrow.
