Early June Garden Update

Memorial Tree planted last July

These photos were taken just after the 2 very HOT days the end of May.

Some salad greens did go to seed.  I will be seed saving this year.

Lots of plants just exploded because of these two days.  Amazing the growth that occurred.

Carrots and Zucchini seedlings in the back (direct seeded)

Cucumbers.  I have to get trellises in

Kale and Cabbage

Love watching cabbage heads form

Broccoli

Hidden in the middle of the asparagus fronds is pole beans around the tri trellis.  Purple flowers in background are sage.  I will pick them to bring into the house to allow more greens to appear.

More broccoli and swiss chard

To the left are the last two bunches of white turnips I need to pull up.  I have already planted bush bean seeds in their spot.

Walking onions

Sunflowers and squash

Tomatoes

More tomatoes

This morning I weeded, planted more corn and more pole beans.

How is your garden doing?
