February Grocery Purchases (Food only)

 Big Y  $32.24      Why I don't like to go into stores.  Part of this purchase was bakery chocolate cookies. Bagels, Pepperoni, Croutons, Blue Cheese Dressing, Tomatoes and Peppers. 

Aldi 96.43  Breakfast Sausage Patties (32 oz) Oven Roasted Turkey and Smoked Turkey (for Sandwiches), Bottom Round Roast, 2# Onions, 2# Carrots, 5# Potatoes, 2 bags of Clancy's veggies Straws, 2 dozen eggs, Onion Soup Mix, Sour Cream, Mixed Veggies, Orange Juice, 3 Green Peppers, 3 Colored Peppers, Jar of Banana Peppers, 6 Avocados bagged, Pico De Gallo, 1 Cherry Yogurt for DH to try, 40 oz Peanut Butter, Pie Crust, Raisin, Everything and Onion Bagels, Marbled Cinnamon Bread. 

Shoprite 70.51   3 Cases of water plus 3 gallons.  2 lbs of Provolone Cheese, 1 lb of American Cheese, 3 lbs of Broccoli Rabe, 2 lbs of Italian Sausage, 3 (twelve packs) of Coke Zero, 1 loaf of white bread, 2 packages Thomas' English Muffins and an ER 12 K cup pack of Bowl and Basket Medium Roast. 

BJ's Wholesale (For Food Storage Pantry, 2 cartons of dehydrated potato shreds, large bag of croutons and large bag of bacon bits $24.30) and large container of Animal Crackers.  6.95

Kohls yes KOHLS!  K cups with all of my Kohls cash that was about to expire 48 Dunkin Medium Roast and 16 Dunkin Pumpkin Spice.  Out of pocket $12.48

Stop and Shop 98.60 3 Cases of Water, English Muffins, 2 OJ, 1 Cider, Potato Bread, Rack of Ribs, Ground Beef, Italian Sausage (these are for the freezer), frozen oj, frozen apple juice, soda, chips and dip (super bowl request DH) clementines and more onions.  

We use alot of peppers and onions.  

I think this will take us into March. 

Stock up Pantry goal $20 paid $24.30

Monthly food goal $200 Spent 304.73.  So a fail if you go by my numbers.  If you go by the USDA thrifty numbers I'm more than HALF below what they say I should spend.  So I'm going with it's still a win, and I do have a lot left to use in March.
