New way to Document Food Costs Here on My Blog

pork tender loin $7.56 for 2.15 lbs This is half of a double Pork tenderloin from BJ's with a coupon. 3 cups of rice .49 a lb is .74 more than likely BJ's or Walmart. fresh broccoli from Aldi $2.50 for 1.43 lbs I know there should be 8 servings in this, but let's be honest, Gpa P and DH will take more than a suggested serving size. So I am going with 6 servings for this meal. At a cost of $1.80 per serving. Not to shabby.

Doing What I Like to Do When I Get Bursts of Energy

I seem to be adjusting better to the infusion treatments. I do notice some improvements (such as not running to the bathroom) Now I don't sleep the day away after treatment. I do have moments of exhaustion, and do need to nap for an hour when that happens. I find I do better first thing in the morning, but then have to stop my usual pace. So here is what I have done the last few days. 1 load of laundry, cleaned the bathroom, make the bed each day. Roasted a chicken, made 8 quarts of stock. Canned 4 of them and used the rest of the stock to make vegetable soup. Took 5 lbs of whole tomatoes out of the freezer (needed to make room for the last of the chicken share) and removed the skins after defrosting (and those I dried to grind down for future use). The tomatoes I cut in half, squeezed out seeds and then cooked them down, added basil, and cream for a delicious tomato soup. Tomorrow I hope to plant the 20 gifted to me direct from Holland tulip bulbs from my next door nei

Trying to make it a weekly habit instead of a once in a while activity

Been working very hard to make some good habits. One is only 2 made at home coffee's a day. Only one Starbucks Cold Brew a week. Exercise at least every other day for minimum 20 minutes. Making Yogurt Baking Bread or Bread Item. This time it was my first try at English Muffins Making a Sweet If it becomes part of the daily or weekly routine, I don't feel so overwhelmed. I have been managing DM's pre ops, post ops and surgeries, (DS has helped with two appointments) and a staff members wives being hospitalized, having surgery (February has been a chaotic month) and trying to not get overly stressed. Drove 45 minutes myyself to get to the Accountant. Taxes are done and ready for me to find the funds to pay all we need to. I think I have done pretty well.
