Decorating and Creating from items of the past

Trying to make little areas that make me happy.     I used DH’s writing chair as a starting point.   

I added a pretty Christmas embellished hand towel.   An ornament that I made. An advent pillow that my Mom gifted to me last year.   In the paper drawer of the chair I put my collection of bottle brushes.  

Below is an old champagne glass with a vintage flocked ornament.  I added some glitter, a glittered ball and some quilt batting.   

So simple and makes me smile.
