DH has been busy removing a half dead tree from our front yard. Last weekend neighbors helped grind the stump down.
I added more garden soil and other amendments.

Still have to mulch and put a border around it. May add some annuals to fill it out. I am pleased. Note the Amish made water pump planter.
We have an over 70 feet 'Holly Bush' that hasn't been maintained for years. I decided this was the year to figure it out.
Here is the crew who came to start cleaning it out. Full of climbing vines and needing to be trimmed and raked out.
Final result! I am thrilled. I am thinking we should plant some vinca or periwinkle underneath. Any suggestions?
