Really trying to rein in the expenditures this month. Quarterly taxes are due as well as other unusual bills (medical, business insurance etc)
December 30th $20.69 Calandra Bakery NJ (we always stop on the way home from PA) Assorted breads/rolls
January 1st $2.39 CVS Case of water, I used a 25% off AND a Pharmacy reward.
January 2nd Ct Natural Produce f $21.23 Fresh veggies
January 3rd $145.98 Shoprite Home. 3 cases of water. 12 cans of tomatoes, 4 cans tomato paste. 4 jars pasta sauce (I will only purchase Colonna brand) 8 cans various styles BM baked beans. 4 packs of individual apple sauces, 12 various Chichis salsa, 4 Herdez Salsa. 10 solid white tuna, 4 white tuna, 4 chunk light tuna. 4 large cans of Botticelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This was the first time I used this service. It's the Can Can sale, and I know if I had actually done the shopping, packing, bringing home bringing in and putting away it would have 'used up my spoons' for the entire day if not the next. I had several coupon codes it allowed me to stack and I also got a free service delivery. All in all I saved $15.95 with codes. I was much more impressed with the experience compared to Peapod. Peapod does provide more thorough info in their emails. I think Shoprite Home is the winner though. Look at the length of this receipt!
January 7 BJ's wholesale $6.08 two pounds of sour cream and a box of mixed herb greens (salad)
January 13 BJ's wholesale $70.54 6 lbs of frozen vegetable blend, 2 lbs tortilla chips, 5 lbs potatoes, egg whites, Chobani quart, 4 lbs shredded Mexican cheese, jimmy dean turkey sausage links, levy's rye bread, maries blue cheese dressing (why I buy it at other stores I have no idea...twice the size for the same price) 3 jars of salsa and 4 pork tenderloin.
January 17 Shoprite Home $88.47 6 cases of water, 30 (yes) cans of Campbells Tomato soup, 2.5 large eggs, Breakstone sour cream, 2 wishbone dressing, 6 Campbells French onion, 6 Campbells Cream of Bacon (any suggestions?)6 cans of Green Giant White Kernel.
January 18 BJ's $26.83 BSCB for 1.69 lb Just shy of 16 lbs. Freezer has lots of chicken in it now.
$382.21 SCORE!
