November grocery purchases (starting a new food normal)

DH decided this month that I will now be sending in breakfast and lunch with him each day.   It's been a challenge finding what he likes/wants and doing it reasonably.  Still working out the kinks. I do admit when he is with me food spending goes up.

October 31 Stop & Shop, $125.36 Grain Bread, pepperoni, cheese, yogurt, almonds, deli meats, American cheese, cranberry sauce, gravy, Campbells tomato soups, boxed broths, nuts, produce, other meat and smoked salmon.

Produce Market November 4, $50.10 2 lbs. peppers, prepared wings for DH lunch, Chicken cutlets, broccoli rabe, blueberries, deli salads, other produce I cannot remember.

Costco November 4 $211.39 Budget already shot Rotisserie chicken, salmon, chicken salad, frozen broccoli, organic spring mix, organic mixed frozen veggies, Caesar salad, 16 count ciabatta rolls, 3 lbs. Italian sausage, shrimp salad, jimmy dean turkey sausage, pistachios, marcona almonds, ground beef, sirloin tips, London broil.

Target November 4 $105.49  Beef jerky, coffee, dip, soda, water, flavored seltzer, thinster cookies (I needed. Not wanted NEEDED)

Shoprite November 8, $61.85 3 cases Poland Springs water, sour cream, butter, 4 lbs. sugar, ricotta, 2 Hatfield Bacons, Smith Ham steaks, 5.95 lb Bottom roast, Goya dried split peas, lentils, Pico di salsa, recaito, sazondor, 3 lb. of apples and Quinoa.  Price was after all the app deals (saving star)

CT Natural Foods November 11, $37.15 various vegetables, deli salads, locally baked bread.

Target November 12 $45.37 after Target cart  Gravy,  canned soups and veggies, beef jerky, assorted cheeses, butter.   Other food stuffs that qualify as gifts for Christmas so not included.

November 17 two local smokehouses in Meriden.     We paid for all we bought at the locations, but have since found out one of them has a groupon.   $18.50 at Filipek Pork Products for 2 pounds of their double smoked Kielbasa and a bottle of wasabi Mustard.   It was spicy, but not so much that we didn't love it.     We then went to Noacks Meat Products where we spent $42.02 on several smoked and raw meats as well as some German and Polish candies/cookies for the holiday.  I like knowing I can get to this shop on my own (Meriden) rather than depending on a weekend for DH to drive me to Little Poland in Newington/New Britain.

November 19 Big Y $30.28 ciabatta rolls, seeded rye, potato chips, tortilla chips, a Caesar wrap sandwich from the deli (lunch/dinner) 18 lb frozen turkey.

Walmart $4.06 36 ct eggs

Ugh.  December should be better.  $731.57     It WILL be better
