October Grocery totals

I know I won't be going to any markets/shopping the rest of the month so here are my totals

2 visits Farmers Market $55

Sept 28 Big Y $26.84 1/2 marble rye, 1/2 seeded rye, 4 pk blueberry lemon scones (these were surprisingly moist and delicious) dozen apple cider donuts, 15 lbs of potatoes (B1G2), apple cider (saved to card half gallon for .99) and 2 lbs of onions.

Sept 30 Stop and Shop $88.24 Vanilla yogurt, BSCB, Cholula hot sauce, Tostitos chips, 2 reduced meat, premio sausage, bonless pork chop value pack, boneless top roast value pack with coupon, 1.92 lbs was just $11.50.  Wings from prepared food (terrible), banans, blueberries (1.5 lbs), raspberries, squash.

October 3 $70.45  4.21 lb of grassfed tenderloin put aside for Christmas. 2 packages of ground pork on markdown, 3.22 lbs of broccoli rabe for .99 lb. 4 lbs of  sour cream, 4 lbs of butter, 3 lbs of shredded cheeses, bag of ice, 3 dozen eggs.


October 5th Big Y $16.67 for Triple Zero Vanilla Yogurt quart size, tortilla chips, picante sauce and Sirloin Tips (saved to card special 2.99 lb)


Mailed a deposit check for our locally raised Thanksgiving Turkey.  20.00

October 7 Ct Fresh Produce Market $69.38 for Ground Beef and Ground Pork, prepared in store chicken cutlets, Wings for DH, Sliced rye (that I threw out as it got moldy very quickly) Scalfani pepper rings, Tuna Salad, Pepperoni, other food stuffs that are only indicated as grocery.

October 11 Big Y,$20.66  two trips, one with Gpa P's card and one with mine.  Gpa P had a saved to card offer of eggs .49 a dozen!  You bet we got those.  He goes through 6 eggs at a clip (5 for him and one for the dog on occasion)  Total purchased was four roaster chickens at .69 a pound and 6 dozen eggs between our two cards.

October 12 Bj's wholesale $77.24 Organic tortilla chips, 2 other large bags of Tortilla chips, 40 oz of pistachios, 2 packages of butternut squash ravioli (Froze one), Italian sausage, Philly cream cheese (6 packages), heluva good dip, Maries blue cheese, 6 pk of bagels, 2 lbs of celery, fresh salsa, Jimmy dean turkey sausage links

October 18 BJ's wholesale  $81.37    I had to get some cleaning supplies for the studio, so I decided to see what deals I could find for groceries.  LOL olive oil and sea salt spread (two large containers), Peppridge Farm stuffing, Herb salad mix, 20 lbs of goya rice (goes towards savings star) LOL sliced white American cheese, 6 pk Swanson chicken stock, 5 lbs sweet onions, 3 lbs of semi sweet chocolate chips, 2 lbs of fresh salmon (Norwegian)

October 21 Ct Fresh Produce Market $41.74 2 packages Scalfani pepper rings (my new go to snack) wings for DH, 3 lbs of ground beef, store prepared chicken cutlets (use these to feed my DM and myself through the week) and store prepared ciabatta croutons.

October 23 $0 at Panera used a GC from last Christmas.  Bakers Dozen bagels that I split between houses and a sweet for DM.

Total OOP is $567.89 however $57.42 is towards holidays in November and December, so I'm taking this month as a win.
