Roots farm Market

We were able to once again visit Roots Farmers Market in Manheim .   We haven't gone in two years as it is only open on Tuesdays .

For $6 we got a huge two pound bunch of kale, three beautiful huge portabella and a big bunch of oyster mushrooms.

For $4 we bought a beautiful large cauliflower and a quart of Brussel sprouts . I

For $8 we got two pounds of cherries, 3 large zucchini and a bunch of leeks .

$2.50 for a quart of delicious meadow mint tea .  We were able to try a sample and we got the quart on the way out .

  1. Nice prices on the stuff you got in Amish country. Are you going to try to bring any of it home with you or are you enjoying it all on vacation?

  2. I didn't realize they were only open on Tuesdays. My ds who lives in Millersville told us about an old girlfriend who always shopped there but didn't mentioned that fact. Will plan on going at some point.
