my organic CSA last year offered as part of our weekly share, a jar of their marinara, which contained purslane. I never heard of it looked it up. My friend who is from an Italian family, grew up eating it.
It is featured in Savuer magazine this month too.
I would try it. But not that bit in the photo growing up from the asphalt ;-)
